Scholarship Award Selection Guideline

ObjectiveTo recognize outstanding young generation in the United States and the world with Korean heritage who excel in services to the community, and have demonstrated a potential to become future leaders of the society.
Scholarship Categories
General Scholarships (multiple) :
$500 – $1,000 per award
ICKC Scholarship — $500 -$1,000 한국문화국제교류운동본부
Endowment College Scholarships (2-4 years in college)
Dr. Chang Hyun Son Scholarship
Mr. Wook Chong Kwon Scholarship
Mrs. Chong Ae Lee Scholarship
Mr. Ki Hyun Lee Scholarship
Mr. Dong Soo Kim Scholarship
Mr. Il Nam Scholarship
Mrs. Jung Hee Park Scholarship
Foundation Vision Scholarships (up to 4 years in college)
Foundation Vision Scholarship : $3,000 per year
Prospects
* Youth Dream Presentation Festival winners (1st-3rd) from each country
* United Kingdom, Germany, France, China, Japan, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, United States, and Europe Contest, Asia Contest.
* Students recommended by each chapter
Eligibility minimum requirements
Applicant must have a school GPA 2.5 or above on 4.0 scale
Applicant must document a leadership and/or volunteer experience
Evaluation Criteria
Leadership activities and community service- 40%
Essay – 40%
Academic performance – 20%

Most recent school transcript (previous 2 years)
Application form provided by MDIF
Essay (either in Korean or English)
Essay theme (choose one):
