The Launch of 'MYNK,' a Next-Generation Network, in Seoul.

On April 16th, the My Dream International Foundation (MDIF) launched MYNK (MYNK: MDIF Young Network Korean), a next-generation network organization, in Seoul. The launch event was attended by Chairman Son Changhyun of the My Dream International Foundation, Kim Taejin (President of the MDIF Korean Branch), Jeong Suseok (MDIF PR Director), and eight university students in Korea of overseas Korean descent. Following a global scholarship award ceremony, attendees discussed the formation of the network. The Foundation then appointed Yoon Chunhong (1st place, China Competition; Global Scholarship recipient), currently a student at Yonsei University, as the president of Mink.

Mink is composed of elites who will lead the Foundation's future activities. It has plans to expand the next-generation network globally, as well as to undertake community and volunteer projects.

Mink members are selected from winners of the "Youth Dream Presentation Festivals," held annually by the My Dream International Foundation in various countries, and from former recipients of the Foundation's global scholarships. The current founding members are: Kim Minseok (Origin: Russia, University: Seoul National University), Kim Yejin (Ukraine, Seoul Women's University), Kim Juok (Thailand, Korea University), Park Dongchan (China, Yonsei University), Park Juyoung (Mexico, Hanyang University), Shin Youngrim (Brazil, Kyung Hee University), Shin Youngseo (Brazil, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), Ok Jaewon (Japan, Korea University), Yoon Chunhong (China, Yonsei University), and Lee Yujin (Japan, Ewha Womans University). The network is planned for continuous expansion in the future.

Chairman Son Changhyun added that the My Dream International Foundation envisions Mink as an organization that will brighten society by leading volunteer projects for both overseas communities and Korea. He also stated that Mink will carry out international exchange and interchange programs, such as global next-generation networking, and that the Foundation's headquarters will provide unsparing support for these endeavors.
