The 7th Hanyang University Model United Nations Conference

The 7th Hanyang University Model United Nations Conference featured the participation of 70 middle and high school students as well as university students. Thanks to the sponsorship from the My Dream International Foundation (Chairman Chang-Hyun Son), participants from various countries, including Singapore, Japan, Canada, and Poland, joined the conference. This helped transform the Hanyang University Model United Nations into a global platform open to people worldwide, rather than just a stage for Koreans.

The committees were divided into four: GA3, UNEP, UNHRC, and ECOSOC. Students in each committee discussed and debated two agendas.

Three awards were given per committee: Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honorable Mention. The Best Delegate received a cash prize of 200,000 KRW supported by the Environmental Foundation, a traditional fairy tale kit with volunteer hours, and a certificate from Hanyang University's College of International Studies. The Outstanding Delegate received a cash prize of 100,000 KRW and a certificate from Hanyang University's College of International Studies, while the Honorable Mention received a certificate from the same.

The Grand Prize winner, the overall first-place participant, received a variety of benefits, including 500 USD provided by the My Dream International Foundation. The Environmental Foundation supported endangered species keyrings, which were included in the welcome kits distributed to the students. Additionally, TEIMUN, a European Model United Nations organization, provided a movie related to Model United Nations, which was screened for free for the students, including interviews with participants.

On Day 1, the opening ceremony was followed by three sessions. Day 2 also had three sessions, and photo time was organized for delegates, chairs, and staff members of each committee. In the afternoon, the movie "Who Killed Kenya," supported by TEIMUN, was screened for the participants, followed by a snack time and a Movie Night event.

On Day 3, after two sessions, the closing ceremony was held.
