Recent News from MYNK France

MYNK France is currently active under the guidance of Ms. Inseo Kim, and consists of 8 students.

Here is the list of MYNK France members and their recent updates:

• Hyeji Jeon: Completed her master’s program last year and is currently preparing for the entrance exam to the French National School of Administration (ENA) and job applications.

• Dowon Shim: Has completed applications for a master’s degree in law and is awaiting results while preparing for her final undergraduate exams. She also plans to prepare for the French bar exam.

• Gippeum Jeong: Is finishing her preparatory course and awaiting university entrance exam results in the field of accounting.

• Hangyeol Kim: A second-year business major, currently focusing on end-of-semester exams.

• Minjong Lee: A first-year student majoring in electrical engineering, diligently completing his coursework.

• Gyuwon Shim: Is about to complete the third year of high school and is preparing for university entrance exams in the field of computer engineering.

• Minju Choi: Currently enrolled in a preparatory course and is in the middle of university entrance exams.

• Isabelle Gérard: A first-year high school student.

On April 16, 2025, the MYNK France general assembly was held, and the executive members for the 2025–2026 term were elected.

With unanimous agreement among all 7 attendees, the new executive members were elected as follows:

• Vice President: Gippeum Jeong

• Treasurer: Hangyeol Kim

We used the $500 budget sent in June 2023 by the end of 2024. Here are the main expenditures:

• Gatherings for member interaction and meetings (meals)

• Cultural activities: museum visits, Korean movie screenings

Plans for Budget Use in 2025–2026

As we have done so far, we will continue to host gatherings with meals to strengthen communication among members. Within the budget limits, we plan to promote Korean culture through various cultural events such as film screenings and exhibitions. We will actively organize a variety of activities while taking advantage of student discounts to keep costs low.

In 2025, we also plan to engage in activities that promote social values, including participating in charity marathons and volunteering. France hosts various charity marathons, where participants raise funds to support underprivileged communities or environmental causes. Runners collect donations and contribute them to these causes, thus fulfilling social responsibilities. These events help build community ties and provide positive social impact for participants.

Additionally, in May 2025, we will support and promote MYNK and the Foundation by helping with event hosting, guidance, celebratory performances, and quiz competitions at the "2025 France Youth Dream Presentation Festival."
